Dr. Zeinab El Nagar
Dr Zeinab was born at Cairo 1985.
Zeinab has over 10 years experience in clinical practice in psychiatry. After qualifying in medicine in Egypt
She had her bachelor degree in medicine and surgery MB BCh at 2008, she completed her specialist training in adult, addiction and child and adolescents psychiatry at the institute of psychiatry , faculty of medicine , ain shams university
She got her master’s degree in neuropsychiatry from neurology and psychiatry department faculty of medicine , ain shams university at 2012 MSc and her master degree thesis in normal and abnormal development of central nervous system . At the neurology and psychiatry department .
Also obtained a PhD in psychiatry renowned Institute of Psychiatry & Psychology 2017.
She then took up a faculty position as Lecturer at the ain shams University, faculty of medicine in psychiatry. She continued to practice as a Consultant Psychiatrist in the psychological medicine private hospital.
Her passion for child and adolescent psychiatry and imaging in psychiatry that led her to continue her doctorate degree thesis in diffuse tensor imaging in acute psychosis from 2014 till 2017.
She continues to see patients in private clinical practice.
Despite this background, zeinab takes a holistic approach to mental health assessment and treatment, and also has a particular interest in CBT, DBT and interpersonal psychotherapy approaches.
She is also passionate about using technology to improve access to mental health care, with a specific interest in the middle east countries.
